Apprenticeship Opportunities

Build Renewables offers a range of apprenticeship programs that combine hands-on experience with classroom learning. Each program is designed to prepare you for a fulfilling career in renewable energy and construction.


Available Apprenticeships:

  1. Construction Craft Laborer (1.6 - 2 years)
    Contribute to renewable energy projects like solar farms and battery storage systems. Learn to work with advanced tools, perform site prep, and support skilled trades.
  2. Heavy Equipment Operator (2.4 - 3 years)
    Operate advanced machinery, including excavators and dozers, on diverse construction sites. Gain expertise in site layout, grading, and safety protocols for renewable energy projects.
  3. Industrial Electrician (3.2 - 4 years)
    Install and maintain electrical systems for cutting-edge renewable energy facilities. Train in safety, diagnostics, and advanced systems like solar PV and battery storage.
  4. Post Driving Operator (1.6 - 2 years)
    Master the operation of specialized equipment to install foundational supports for solar installations. Ensure precise placement and adherence to safety standards.
  5. Material Handling Operator (1.6 - 2 years)
    Learn to manage and operate equipment like forklifts and skid steers, ensuring the smooth movement of materials critical to construction Projects.

Program Highlights

  • Hybrid  Learning: Gain hands-on training onsite while completing over 100s of hours of classroom instruction.
  • Earn While You Learn: Receive progressive wages, starting at 60-80% of journey-level pay, with scheduled increases as you advance.
  • Nationally Recognized Credentials: Upon completion, apprentices learn industry-recognized certifications, positioning you for long-term career success.
